PARTNERSHIP VILLAGEĀ
Partnership Village is a transitional housing community that offers affordable housing in a supportive environment for homeless individuals or families that are working towards greater self-sufficiency. The primary goal of the program is for each household to become independent and qualify for conventional housing.
Residents of Partnership Village meet regularly with a case manager and together they identify goals that need to be met in order to become self-sufficient. These goals are based on three performance measures: 1) maintaining housing/residential stability, 2) increasing skills and/or income and 3) increasing self-determination.
The journey through the PV Program is supported through monthly rent subsidies provided by Greensboro Urban Ministry, monthly life skills training/workshops, a community computer lab, the PV Career Readiness Program, and support groups lead by the GUM chaplains and Narcotics Anonymous. In addition, the children are connected to the Future Bound Program which provides support services that prepare and enable them to succeed in school. A weekly tutoring program is offered throughout the school year.
The director of Partnership Village is Gin Reid Hall. To contact Gin Reid or other staff, please call 336.286.6401.
