Greensboro Urban Ministry, a leading non-profit serving the community for over 50 years announced Kathleen Smith as the incoming Director of Development effective April 1, 2019. Kathleen is a 13 year resident of Greensboro, and a development veteran with over 20 years fundraising and development experience.
Smith’s hiring comes as Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM) implements a plan of strategic growth in grant programs, development and outreach. Later this spring GUM plans to hire a Communications Coordinator, significantly expanding the development team’s bandwidth.
